Kilka miesięcy temu Kompania Węglowa zakupiła do swoich kopalń przenośne defibrylatory AED. Dzięki takiemu urządzeniu udało się uratować życie pracownikowi kopalni Marcel – poinformował portal nettg.pl Zbigniew Madej, rzecznik prasowy spółki.
Obecnie wszystkie kopalnie należące do Kompanii Węglowej są w posiadaniu defibrylatorów. Z uwagi na coraz częstsze przypadki udzielania pierwszej pomocy i resuscytacji pracowników, niektóre kopalnie zaopatrują się w kolejne urządzenia. Przenośne defibrylatory zewnętrzne AED usytuowane są w miejscach dostępnych przez 24 godziny na dobę, np. w przyszybowych punktach opatrunkowych. Dzięki temu umożliwiają podjęcie natychmiastowych działań ratujących życie. Mobilność defibrylatorów pozwala na szybkie dotarcie do osób nieprzytomnych, którym niejednokrotnie już usiłowano pomóc prowadząc resuscytację krążeniowo-oddechową z użyciem defibrylatora AED, nawet w wyrobiskach przyszybowych pod ziemią.
- Niedawno przeprowadzono akcję ratunkową z wykorzystaniem defibrylatora pod ziemią w kopalni Jankowice. Lekarz dyżurny zjeżdżając pod ziemię prowadził resuscytację w wykorzystaniem defibrylatora AED, który znajdował się w przyszybowym punkcie opatrunkowym kopalni. Akcja prowadzona była do czasu wytransportowania chorego na powierzchnię i przybycia jednostki ratownictwa medycznego – wyjaśnia Zbigniew Madej.
Zaletą tych nowoczesnych urządzeń jest także to, że mogą być wykorzystywane nawet przez osoby bez kwalifikacji ratownika, które jako pierwsze udzielają pomocy w przypadkach nagłego zatrzymania akcji serca. Jest to możliwe także w wyrobiskach dołowych kopalń. Zadaniem osoby ratującej jest włączenie defibrylatora, naklejenie elektrod na odsłoniętą klatkę piersiową poszkodowanego i wykonywanie komend głosowych wydawanych przez urządzenie. Polecenia głosowe wyświetlane są także na ekranie, jednocześnie analizowany jest rytm serca poszkodowanego. Wynik tego badania decyduje o tym, czy przeprowadzenie defibrylacji jest konieczne, czy też należy rozpocząć resuscytację krążeniowo-oddechową.
