XXI World Congress Mining will be opened in Cracow but its thematic sessions will also take place in other Polish centers of mining industry. The participation in debates has been announced by delegations from 44 states, and the most numerous ones will be from: India, Russia, Ukraine, and Germany. The most numerous group with 140 participants will arrive from India.
15 thematic sessions have been prepared, in which four outgoing sessions in Katowice, Lubin, Bełchatów and Wieliczka. The participants will have an opportunity to get acquainted with varied mining. Following their own interests they will be able to visit hard coal. brown coal, copper and salt mines. During the debates about 300 papers will be presented. The mines of, brown, pit coal of copper, salt according to own interests can visit. During debates be presented becomes about 300 reports. The debates of the Congress and the outgoing sessions will be accompanied by the World Mining Expo in Sosnowiec. This will be one of the largest exhibition events in Poland. As many as 270 exhibitors will appear at Expo Silesia from 22 countries. The employees of Kolporter Expo have prepared for them 20 Thos. square meters of exhibition surface in modern exhibition objects. Some dozen or so thousands people will probably visit the exhibition.
The rest after debates, scientific discussions. business conversations will be assured by the rich program of accompanying events. The exhibitions of artistic works have been prepared of people connected with Polish mining representing their extra professional passions and customs. The performance of „Śląsk” Song and Dance Ensemble will surely be a cultural event.
